Even with Cheap MP3 downloads 50 cent thrift store records still rule! - **** It s a very nice record player. ****The Good: USB hookup is without issue. : )Sound quality is what you would expect. : )Transfer to PC is flawless : )The OUTPUTS and CONTROLS are Exceptional. 0:-)The speaker is nice. : ) The manual is better than most. : )The website seems informative and helpful. : )Plays 78 45 and 33 1/3 speed records. (I ve only played 45 33 1/3) : )Packaging was good. : )The Bad:Transfer to mac is fine but you need to download the software from web. It says the software is on the CD but it is not. :(The annoying or I wish it were different:There is not a built in AC power adapter, or USB cable holder. As this is portable you will need a second bag or something similar to carry your cables. This makes it easier to forget or misplace. If I could at least fit it in an empty battery compartment that would be something. :|I wish it had a lever for raising and lowering the needle : |Conclusion : I really like it because it s functional and tech freindly. All reviews seem to really like it. People complain about stupid stuff but this is a great little player for a fair price. (Identical to ION IPTUSB)

Very happy with this Turntable - I am very very happy with this turn table so far. I got it today and it was ready to go right out of the box.Great sound from it s internal speaker and I love how portable the unit is.So far I ve recorded about three albums onto my computer and the sound quality is very good - even on records quite scratched and warped with age.I am a Mac user and the correct software was NOT bundled with the turntable. I had to go to Numark s website to download the right software, but am happy with the result. The noise reduction in audacity requires some tinkering but you can get good noise reduction results without sacrificing too much of the original audio of your recordings.I m very happy with my new toy and will be recording records onto my computer and playing records on this little portable wonder for years to come.

Great turntable, software was extra work - I ordered this turntable to transfer recordings from my old 78 records to my computer. It came with a software CD, which [as with any USB turntable] transfers the files from the turntable to the computer and lets you clean up the noise. The CD that came with the turntable did not have the right software for my Mac, but I downloaded the recommended - and free - Audacity software from audacity.sourceforge.net. along with a PDF version of the user manual. If you use a PC rather than a Mac you should not have this problem. Being a novice, it took me a few hours of reading and experimenting to get things working the way I wanted, but I m completely satisfied with the result. A great USB turntable at a great price.

So far so good! - I have not recorded yet, but for the price the record player is perfect. The sound from the built in speaker is not bad, but with headphones or other speakers it is great. (uses computer style speakers.) Lightweight for easy transport and small for storage or moving.) Will update after recording
